Description

1972 Chevrolet C-20, Pickup, Custom Camper Edition, CE20934. This is not a show truck, it is a fifty-year old truck in very nice condition.
Custom Camper, Z81, three quarter (3/4) ton truck is designed to be used for towing a travel trailer or a car trailer; it can also be used to carry a truck camper.
I’ve used this truck for all of those purposes.
It is equipped with a quality trailer brake controller.
It has a seven (7) pin plug on rear bumper to plug into your trailer lights/brakes.
It has factory option G50heavy duty rear leaf springs, and front stabilizer F59.
A 350 engine was original with this truck.
Current 350 engine is a Chevrolet Good-wrench that was installed before I bought truck from originalowner.
It is in good running order; Engineoil sent to a National Laboratory for analysis.
Results of analysis were positive, engine bearings/internal parts are ingood condition.
According to originalowner, engine has approximately 40,000 miles on it.
It has factory equipped Heavy Duty Radiator(V01).
Transmission is a MuncieSM-465 four (4) speed; transmission functions well and this style transmissionwas used for many years in Chevy and GMC trucks.
Like the engine, transmission was changed outfor a new/rebuilt unit 40,000 miles ago.
Clutch is a heavy-duty type original equipment for Custom Camper Model.
Rear end is a Dana 60 thathas been restored with a master rebuild kit, and a 3.70:1, micro-polishedRevolution Ring and Pinion.
With thisR&P, at 60 MPH engine runs 2353 RPM. Rear end housing has been upgradedwith new axles and Moser aluminum cover. Driveshaft has been improved with newcarrier bearing and universal joints.
Exterior of vehicle is indaily driver condition with some paint chips and dents in aluminum trim, mostnoted on the front grill surround.
Vehicle has been repainted at some point in time, but original color,light yellow #525 was used.
Floors aresolid, as are rocker panels.
Interior floors arecovered with “Boom Mat” to prevent sound transfer.
New correct carpet from Auto Custom Carpetinstalled.
Painted portions of interiorshow scratches in paint.
New dash pad andglove compartment installed Seats are leather/full foam as Z52 factory option.
This is a very nicerunning and driving vehicle; it’s a pleasure to tow a travel trailer or cartrailer.
