1986 Chevrolet K20Custom Deluxe 4x4
This 1986 Chevrolet K20 Custom Deluxe is a long bed Fleetside pickup that was purchased new in August of 1986 and was used by the original owner until his passing in May of 2020.
Key features include 5.6 Liter V8 Gas Engine,Four-Speed Manual Transmission, 2H 4H 4L Transfer Case, Sliding Rear Window and Dual Gas Tanks. The Odometer shows 67K Miles, but seller's estimate is 100K above the odometer reading.
The sellers are the administrators of the owner’s estate who have court authorization to sell the vehicle.
Recent work is fluid changes, tire replacement, battery replacement, V-belt replacement, hose replacement,carburetor overhaul and rear brake system overhaul.
The listed estate administrator had these repairs completed before driving the truck from western Illinois to northern Virginia in May of 2021 in preparation for sale. The truck performed well, and the 900-mile trip was completed without incident.
The
exterior
was refinished in 2015 maintaining the original Chevrolet Frost White color.
The scope of work was hood, fender, rockers, cab corners and box sides replacement and repair of surface rust. The
cabin
is painted white and features the original upholstery.
There are two damaged areas on the driver’s side of the seat as shown in the included pictures.
Driver controls feature original four-speed shifter, transfer case controls and steering wheel.
Instrumentation includes original 85 MPH speedometer,battery status, fuel gauge and coolant temperature.
Aftermarket cruise control, intermittent windshield wiper control and radio/cassette player are featured.
The right front speaker is not operational and there is a chipped corner on the lower left dash plastic trim plate.
