Description

Here are two pitch pipes, made by the Wm. Kratt Co. of Union, New Jersey. Both come in the original boxes.  One is a Staggered Ukulele Pitch Pipe. Box is marked A-440 and No. 0-3.  The brass ends of the tubes are marked with the note they play.  The chrome finish has some wear and smears.  It measures about 1-1/2" x 1-1/4".  We don't know it's age, but we are guessing its from the 1950's or earlier.  The other one is a Master Key Chromatic Pitch Instrument.  The number A-440 is on that box too.  There are patent numbers inside the box, the most recent of which was issued in 1931.  The pitchpipe is black plastic with white lettering on one side, and chrome with etched letters on the other.  It measures 2-1/2" across.  There's a small flyer in the box advertising Kratt harmonicas.  The Master Key box is hinged. Both boxes have rub wear.  Selling the pair AS IS, with no reserve, buyer pays shipping.  Check our seller's list for lots of neat old stuff!
