    Since 1990, I have enjoyed collecting and restoring antique radios and vintage audio.... all items I list will be exactly as described and packed extra well to ensure a safe delivery.. buy with confidence !
    For sale is a pair of 12" AlNiCo WOOFERS removed from a set of vintage Sonics AS-331 speakers. Made in Japan.  Part / model # on backs is 02-136, and they are marked as "8 ohms impedance".  Actual DCR measures 7.7 and 7.9 ohms.  Frame diameter is 12.0 ".  Tested and work perfectly... cones, spiders, dust-caps and treated paper accordion surrounds all in fine shape!
    The 02-136 model woofers are same type originally used in Astrocom / Marlux KL-4711 speakers.  I'm not 100% sure, but these MIGHT have been OEM/made by Sansui?  Many of the woofers and mids found in Sonics speakers look very much like those found in vintage Sansui speakers... even the way their part #s and info is ink-stamped on backs.  Just an observation, having collected and restored vintage audio for over 30 years.
    They might serve as great replacement woofers for other Sonics speaker models, however... BUYER is responsible for doing their own research to ensure they are buying the correct woofer/part for their speakers or DIY project.
