Vintage Antique Women's Hat Late 1800s Net Lace & Velvet Wire frame C1-5
Very sweet little hat millinery wire construction with velvet and net lace.   The of the hat is made of velvet, which was originally lavender, but has faded to a pale "ashes of roses" color.  The crown of the hat and the brim are made of net lace stretched over the wire frame.  It is a unique shape with pointed edges at the front (noon), right side (3 o'clock) and left side (9 o'clock) positions.  It is decorated with hot pink and purple velvet flowers.  Inside is a band of cream colored ribbon wit abstract flowers printed on it.  Please look closely to the photos as they are considered a part of the description.
Condition:
The inner silk ribbon is shattering, the velvet has faded and the net lace needs to be tacked on to the velvet top at each side.  The hat needs to be cleaned, if possible.
